The Village Superintendent of Highways is responsible for the maintenance of the Village roads. The Superintendent not only oversees the construction and repair of the Village roads but also ensures that the contracts into which the Village enters regarding all aspects of the maintenance, repair and construction of the roadways are completed in accordance with the required specifications.

The Superintendent also insures that the snow / sand contractors are on site during snow and ice conditions and in general, is responsible for the safety of the Village roadways.
